If you have a holiday that you would like to see here, let me know what it is and tell me about it. I am only including American holidays (I know some are celebrated world wide) here but if you aren't American, I will try to add any you request if I can find, or you can provide, the information. Just drop a line to us on the Contact Us page.

That is not to say that I will not cover them. If you want to include a holiday you celebrate that isn't included, drop me an email (the address is on the contact page) with the name of the holiday, the history, why it is celebrated, and the customs that are followed on that holiday. If you request a byline and, especially if I use the information you send word for word, I will use that. If you have a website, etc., write a little about it and I will include that for a good link. I have had friends over the years who celebrated different holidays and customs at Christmas time. I think it would be interesting to hear about other traditions.

Speaking of traditions, not everyone celebrates the holidays the same way. I will throw in my family traditions and how (and why) they have changed over the years.

I also realize that I may have left out some holiday that is commonly celebrated. Please, let me know about that, too.
